REHABILITATIVE NURSING CARE PROGRAM

People, coping with long term illnesses, impairments or disabilities, age related or otherwise, prefer to stay in their own homes to receive care. This is both socially beneficial and economically beneficial. Managed care companies provide compassionate patient-centred care in familiar home environment and in lieu of high costs related to acute and sub-acute healthcare facilities.

Elderly Programme

  • Taking Elderly to their Doctor appointment by a trained health care carer
  • Assisting elderly with their chronic medication

  • Home based nursing care

  • Exercising and mobility care
  • Assist with personal hygiene and grooming
  • Assist patients recovering from minor ailments like fractures
  • Catheter care
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Administration of prescribed medication
  • Short Term (e.g. for non-complicated post-surgery recovery, intravenous therapy, tube feeding); etc..
  • Medium Term ( (e.g. complex post-surgical recovery needs, pain management); etc
  • Long-term (e.g. rehabilitation post stroke, wound management program for patients with complex wound care, unhealed surgical wounds and bedsores, adult medicine); etc.

  • Wound Care Clinic

  • Skilled nurses’ partner with physicians and other healthcare providers to helping clients achieve their highest level of independence..
  • Short Term (e.g. for non-complicated post-surgery recovery, intravenous therapy, tube feeding); etc..
  • Medium-term (e.g. complex post-surgical recovery needs, pain management); etc
  • Long-term (e.g. rehabilitation post stroke, wound management program for patients with complex wound care, unhealed surgical wounds and bedsores, adult medicinery needs, pain management); etc.

  • Rehabilitative Care and Palliative care

  • Short term visits after surgery or illness
  • Palliative care offered to terminally ill people with serious illnesses and considers the physical, emotional, social, spiritual needs of the person and involves giving support to the family. Palliative care can be offered alongside curative treatment.

    Occupational Health care

    o Medical surveillance: Pre employment, periodic and exit medical
    o Medical Testing: audiometric test, lung function test, Vision screening.
    o Fitness certificate
    o Biological Monitoring

    o Hazard identification and Risk Assessment.
    o Administration of injury on Duty

    Employee Wellness programme

    o Onsite counselling
    o Crisis counselling

    o Managerial and referral agents support
    o Management consultation
    o Referral services to appropriate providers outside of the EWP
    o Face to face counselling. Up to six (6) face to face counselling sessions
    o On-site trauma and critical incident response and support (trauma debriefing)
